Morgan County Parks & Recreation

The goal of Morgan County Parks & Recreation Department is to provide recreation opportunities for rural Morgan County citizens of all ages through programs and well-maintained facilities.

Facilities

Below is a summary of our parks and recreation facilities, their locations, and the amenities available at each of them. Except for recognized league activities, all facilities are open from dawn to dusk.

Brindlee Mountain

Huskey Park

North Park

South Park

West Park

Four baseball/softball fields, two batting cages, playground, three pavilions, walking trail, football field, soccer fields, archery range

Facility Use Fees

All pavilions are free of charge but should be reserved by calling Morgan County Parks & Recreation at 256-560-6070.

All ball fields are $225 per field and $25 per light hour per field, with a minimum of two fields rental per booking. The cost for four fields is $800. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to book an event. The deposit is applied toward final rental costs.
