District 4 Commissioner Greg Abercrombie: Serving the County Since 2008
Commissioner Greg Abercrombie serves District 4, which covers several small communities in the eastern end of the county, including Lacey’s Spring, Union Hill, Cotaco, Brewer, Ryan, and Valhermoso Springs. The district also touches the other districts in the following directions: District 3 Southwest, District 1 Northwest, and District 2 West. District 4 borders Madison County on the north side, Marshall County on the east side, and Cullman on the south side. District 4 also has more road miles than other districts.
Primary Duties
Maintaining roads, bridges, and right-of-way
Managing the District 4 budget
Collaborating with fellow commissioners and chairman to ensure county departments have adequate funding to provide services for all residents
Actively seeking and obtaining funding for projects to improve the quality of life for county residents
